If we aim to bottle our whisky for enthusiasts, then we feel we have hit one out of the park with this one. This cask actually came to us, and with the current state of the whisky industry, we weren't sure making a new purchase was the right choice. However, once we tried it, we knew we wanted it, and the sellers were very gracious, working with us on the price so that we could ensure it was brought to you at a great price. This was a very fortunate cask purchase, and several factors had to align to make it happen.

Sometimes you need to improvise when trying to pull a sample. This involved a drill, a wood screw and a screwdriver.

We chose not to include the original distillery on this bottle because the sellers were not the original distiller. We opted to use a pseudonym, Saanich. If you know much about the craft distillers of the day, or our other current whisky release, you'll have a pretty big clue as to which distiller created this beauty. ​

There is very little in Canadian whisky that tastes like this. It is delicate and rich in fruit and nuance. We think this will go quickly. This is one of those whiskies that we would love to take credit for, but we only cared for it for a short period. The original distiller and those who cared for it before us deserve all the credit. We have worked diligently to bring this to you at the most reasonable price possible. We hope you thoroughly enjoy it.​​
